Jazmine is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate and completed her Masters of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lamar University and Bachelors of Science in Child and Family Development from Texas Southern University. She has a background in education. and working with adult clients overcome obstacles related to anxiety, depression, career, and substance use issues.
Jazmine specializes in implementing mindfulness practices that help you reduce stress, anxiety, and depression symptoms. Jazmine believes that humans have the capability to take control of their lives, and heal from trauma in a holistic way. With her genuine guidance, counseling can be a process of self exploration, and an opportunity for you to gain inner peace and confidence. Ja’Nisha Robinson is an LPC-A from Greenville, Mississippi. Ja’Nisha has a masters from the University of Southern Mississippi in Counseling Psychology. Accompanying her degree, she has four years of experience working in the mental health field as a therapist and qualified mental healthcare professional.
Ja’Nisha operates from a Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy framework and a Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy framework for individuals aspiring to find a source of comfort and peace yet are struggling with depression and trauma.
Ja’Nisha believes that our beliefs are guided by experiences we have when we are young, that help us shape and cope with life and continue into our adulthood as survival/coping mechanisms. Together, we can recognize these beliefs, change them, and ultimately change the way we live life through changing thoughts and behavior. We can change the world, one mind at a time.
