After 14 years I went into a doctors office for a sonogram and the results was just what I expected for years….I had fibroids.
Even though I knew what the results would be as I was proficient in my Google medical degree and I had checkboxed all the symptoms the anxiety of it being something much more serious kept me from going to the doctor and getting the confirmation of what I already knew.
But there was also a freedom in knowing and with that knowing I took back my power. Now I have the opportunity to make a plan for treatment along with my medical team as well as a plan for better gut and reproductive health.
I am empowered on this new journey of fibroid recovery and look forward to sharing it with you!!!
